Why can't some scores be checked out in three darts?
Seven scores (159, 162, 163, 165, 166, 168 and 169) can't be made with any combination of three darts ending on a double. They're often called bogey numbers.
Do I have to finish on a double?
In standard 501 and 301, yes. The bullseye counts as a double.
What's the best double to leave?
Whichever you hit most reliably. Many players favour double 16 or double 20 because missing them often leaves another workable double.
Is this trainer free?
Yes. There are no accounts or sign-ups. The site is supported by ads and optional tips.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The board is designed for touch, and you can add the site to your home screen to use it like an app.
Are the routes shown the only correct ones?
No. They're widely used routes, but players choose different paths depending on which doubles they prefer. If you have a different route you like, practise that one.

Every finishable score from 41 to 170, which is 123 checkouts once the seven bogey numbers are excluded.
